The love of my life hates presents

T hates registering for gifts. Since we are getting married in August, we must register. I tried to get him to help me by starting small and looking online. All I got out of him was silverware and plates. Don't even start with the cups! I plan on forcing him to the *gasp* mall soon. Wish me luck (with the gifts and with professor PP).

Forget his input about mundane things like household goods - he won't care anyway. Have him register with you at a manly store like Home Depot or Ace Hardware or the online tractor parts store.
You pick out all the pretty things.

Could be worse. He could care about every little detail like Mylo did. Man, that was a hassle. I would rather pick stuff out myself. :)

I did pick good silverware though.

I, too, must agree that in my experience, Ty is behaving in a very developmentally appropriate manner. Put me in a hardware, home improvement or auto parts store and my eyes begin to glaze over. As for cup picking, just make sure the cup handles accommodate bigger boy hands. Consider it a pat on your back that your beloved partner is confident in and happy with the decisions that you make. (Right, Ty !? ) As a fellow Aquarian, I know that for me, making choices is a process I agonize over and always 2nd guess. That's probably why we're still using the plates and silverware I chose 35 years ago! I may now prefer something more colorful, but apparently I did a super job in the durability factor!
