Meh

Meh isn't just a "word" pop singers say, ("It's gonna be meh." -Nsync (more specifically JT) "Nobody else but, meh." - Brittney Spears) ask a baby what a goat says and the smart ones will say Meeeehhhh. (Hopefully their parents taught them correctly and a goat doesn't say Baa.)

I bring this up because T wants to get goats and that is A-OK with me. Usually I have to think once, twice, three times about farm animals but goats? Goats I can live with. Goats are cute and their poop is so dainty. I can live with goats.

T wants goats to gaze our field and to provide him with milk. Personally, I hate goat cheese and therefore think I would find their milk awful but it really is okay. Goats are kinda cute, and I think they are loving. They are always quite friendly at the petting zoo. They are small and not scary. The only problem I can see arising is that we get too many babies and T suggests we out one for some meat. That will be a whole other issue, for another blog.

So in the next couple of years I think we will have goats. Now we just need a fence.

Oooh, you're going to get in trouble from a certain shephard we know! I think goat cheese is delicious, but I don't think I'd drink goat milk.

You should get a pygmy goat. They are tiny and adorable. One of Mylo's former student's raises them. Hilarious.

Whatcha got against Ovis?
Well, admittedly, they ARE difficult to milk.

I looked on miniatureanimal.com and found that you could have a farm full of little animals that make you feel big and powerful and not at all scared (well, I guess some weight 400+ pounds even if only 3 ft tall but you could leapfrog over them if they come at you). You’d have tiny fences and teeny stalls and Ty could design a machine to cut your hay into itty bitty bales. Perfect.

I didn't know that people ate goats?

B and Mom- I love pygmy animals. Good idea! Ty would never go for the idea but it sounds so economical and precious.

Mel - I don't know if people eat goats. I am sure they do somewhere. I just think Tyler would.
