I'm Sorry...

Sometimes you just have to post pictures to show what you did this week. This is one of those posts. "Pondering Life" posts coming soon (when I actually think about it). This was just one of those week where you don't buy groceries and just play it by ear. (Gimme a break, I plan out everything)

My favorite colored Dehlia so far.

Tyler has taught the birds how to eat out of his hands. He is a regular Mary Poppins.

I canned more hot peppers. I plan on trying ketchup. We did go to the fair this week and I made a list of everything I want to enter next year. Not even joking!

Yes, on Monday, I tried on dresses. I hate trying things on so wedding dress shopping isn't my favorite thing to do (although the first time wasn't so bad). I did it again though and I think the wedding ladies are rude. This is my magazine pose where all the models bend forward. Why do they do that?! (Maybe that is why the wedding ladies hate me) :)

You're a funny girl.

That dahlia is very beautiful - I don't remember seeing it at Connell's Dahlia Farm so it must be very special.

Oh no, not eating out of his hand...not long until they're pecking out eyes. I'm buying everyone protective eyewear for Christmas - hope I'm not too late!

Is that a picture of you and me on the cover of that book?

I'm thinking you might not project proper bridal image and respect when dress shopping which might account for the seemingly rude attitude. I haven't seen anyone else making fun of the experience. All the other brides-to-be have been suitably refined. 'Course they were not at all fun like you and I feel sorry for their poor serious, weepy mommas. You make me laugh; even as we are being shunned.

Ha, Nancy that is great - if you enlarge the pic of Em in the dress you can see you laughing in the reflection....I imagine that happened every time and see why the wedding ladies didn't take you guys seriously...

P.S. I thought I wasn't supposed to see the bride-to-be all dressed up before the big day, or something?

Haha, yea Tyler, because that is exactly what I will look like. No shoes, no make up, a long ass veil, a dress two sizes too big. Man, everyone IS going to tell me I look beautiful. Plus, we will now have bad luck since you saw. Crap. heehee

I think your little buttskin looks very cute in that dress ! Sara's (and my) wedding dress is available for 'subtrafuge' wedding dress wearing if you want to confuse your groom as to your dress choice, making him believe you've really gone retro !
